Printing in the Libraries

Printing in the Libraries costs .06¢ for a doublesided page. All printers in the Libraries are set to duplex.

UNCG Students, Faculty, & Staff

To print in Jackson Library and the Music Library UNCG patrons must have SpartanCash on their Spartan Card. There are Fill Stations for adding to SpartanCash in Jackson Library near the Check Out Desk, and the Dining Hall Atrium. Value must be added in $1.00 increments.

Money may also be added through the Spartan Card office in 121 Elliott.

Other Printing Services

All students are given an allocation of 75 free pages ($3.00) a semester and 40 pages ($1.60) in the summer in ITS sponsored labs, including the Superlab located in Jackson Library

Color printing is available to UNCG users in the SuperLab. Color printing charges are twenty cents ($.20) for a single-sided page, or thirty-eight cents ($.38) for a double-sided page.

UNCG users may print in color, on color paper, and in different sizes through University Graphics and Printing.

Wireless and other printing services are also available on campus.

Guests

Non-UNCG patrons (including Friends of the Library and Alumni) must purchase a guest card for $1.00 from the Fill Station located across from the Check Out Desk in Jackson Library. Value may be added to the card at the Fill Station in $1.00 increments.

Downloading and Email

Many of our resources provide the option of downloading or emailing documents rather than printing. Please ask a Library staff member for assistance.

Problems with printing

If you experience any problems using the Library's printing system, please contact any Library service desk. If the printer jams or is out of toner, we will happily reprint your article free of charge.
