The case of the frozen addicts: how the solution of a medical mystery revolutionized the understanding of Parkinson's Disease
by J.W. Langston and Jon Palfreman

When I first read this book, I was finishing my PhD studies and still trying to figure out how to be a scientist. This book "clicked" with me in that it not only showed how researchers can use detective skills to figure out a medical mystery, but it also laid the foundation for studies that seek to discover the mechanisms of Parkinson's disease. I recommend this book to all budding scientists for it illustrates the path of scientific discovery in a gripping, entertaining manner.
