Steve Cramer, Business Librarian

Biography

I began working in Jackson Library in April 2001, and was awarded tenure in 2007. I came to UNCG from Duke University, where I was the Digital Services Librarian and business specialist in Perkins Library. Before that, I was a librarian at Davenport College (now University) of Business in Holland, Michigan.

I earned a BA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from the University of Michigan in 1991, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1994. I'm co-founder of Business Librarianship in North Carolina (BLiNC), a member of ALA's BRASS, and a Carolina Consortium negotiator. In fall 2006 and 2007 I taught LIS 613, the business information class for the UNCG library science department. I help teach MKT 426, International Marketing.
