Steve Cramer

Business & Entrepreneurship Librarian and Professor

As the UNCG Business & Entrepreneurship Librarian, my mission is to support the research needs of students and faculty in the Bryan School as well as entrepreneurship students across campus. I also support other classes working with company, industry, market, nonproft, etc. research. Each year I answer hundreds of research questions, and teach or guest-teach dozens of active-learning research workshops. Please let me know what I can do to help you.

I am a Coleman Fellow for Entrepreneurship Education and teach ENT 530: Researching Opportunities in Entrepreneurship & Economic Development in the spring

I was awarded the BRASS Excellence in Business Librarianship award in 2020 and the PrivCo Prize for Excellence in Business Librarianship in 2015.

I earned a BA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from the University of Michigan in 1991, and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1994. I’m co-founder of Business Librarianship in North Carolina (BLINC), a member of ALA’s BRASS, and a Carolina Consortium negotiator.
