Electronic Resources & Information Technologies

Electronic Resources and Information Technologies (ERIT) is responsible for developing service programs for electronic media; for exploring, selecting, and implementing new technologies; for writing and supporting custom programs; for desktop and server hardware support and maintenance; for software selection, installation, customization, and support; for the maintenance and development of the library catalog; for library distance education support; for digital projects; for campus-wide non-instructional academic web page support; for building and maintaining databases and custom front ends; and for ebooks, ejournals, and other electronic resources.

ERIT has created a number of cutting-edge inventions, many of which have been adopted by other libraries nationwide . At last count, the members of ERIT have spoken at over 250 conferences and workshops and have authored over 50 articles and chapters.
