The library renovation has continued to make progress thanks to the construction managers having a crane on site to remove precast pieces from the tower. To prepare for the crane, significant work was completed from inside the tower’s back stairwell, allowing the crane to be used to finish the removal from the outside. This will allow for the installation of the hoist to take place, creating a travel path for demolition to continue and for new materials to be taken to and from tower floors.
