All UNCG students, faculty, and staff are invited to celebrate the end of another successful semester with the UNCG University Libraries. See below for event details. All events are free!

  • Free coffee and tea will be available on April 27 and May 3 at Jackson Library (6pm to Close) and on April 28 and 30 at Schiffman Music Library (4pm to Close).
  • Therapy pets will visit both libraries (Jackson Library and Music Library) from noon to 2pm on Reading Day, April 30.
  • The annual University Libraries Research Awards recognition ceremony and reception will be held on April 30 at 1pm in Hodges Reading Room (second floor of Jackson Library). Free snacks will be provided.
  • Pack-a-Palooza, where students can build their own free “finals success kits” will be on April 29 from 3:30pm to 5pm in the Music Library and on April 30 from 6pm to 7:30pm in Jackson Library (lobby).

End of semester reminders from the University Libraries:

  • All UNCG book borrowers should plan to return or renew their library books by May 8, 2026.
  • Instructors teaching during the Summer or Fall semesters should take note of the information and deadlines shared via email on April 14th.
  • Those wishing to take graduation photos in front of Jackson Library are more than welcome to do so, but are reminded not to block the entrance and to refrain from using glitter and confetti.
