Peabody Park Bridge Vacc Bell Tower

The Peabody Park Bridge, connecting College Avenue with the Music Building, opened.

The 47-foot Vacc Bell Tower was dedicated in memory of Nicholas A. Vacc, Professor of Education.

The former Chancellor's Residence on Spring Garden Street was re-dedicated after a major restoration as the Jane Harris Armfield and Emily Harris Preyer Admissions and Visitor Center.

The Brown Building Annex was demolished, and the area was converted into a green space.

For the first time, enrollment exceeded 15,000 with 16,060 students enrolled for the 2005/06 school year.

Taylor Garden reopened after a restoration of the existing pond and expansion of the surrounding plaza and landscape.
