Printing In the Libraries
UNCG Students, Faculty, & Staff
UNCG students, faculty, and staff can print at any public printer in the Libraries (except the Library Guest Printer), through the UNCG ITS Pharos Print Center (details for Students; details for Faculty and Staff). A SpartanCard is required to release print jobs. Letter sized black & white and color printing are offered. Black and white costs 4¢ per single-side page; 6¢ per double-side. Color costs 20¢ per single-sided; 38¢ per double-sided.
- All students are given an allocation of 75 free single-sided pages ($3.00) per semester and 40 free single-sided pages ($1.60) in the summer.
- Students can use any active print allocation funds on their accounts to print. When logged into the Pharos Print Center, students will only see their allocated funds.
- Otherwise, money must be stored on cards as SpartanCash which is named “flex account” on the print release stations. (This flex account is not the same as the Flex account offered through a UNCG meal plan.) To add SpartanCash with a credit or debit card, visit SpartanCard Online. To add with cash, visit the SpartanCard Center located in the lower level of Moran Commons.
- For additional information see “How to Print to a UNCG Printer in a Computer Classroom”.

Downloading and Email
Many of our resources provide the option to download or email documents rather than printing them. Please ask a Library staff member for assistance.
