Jackson Library

Materials may be borrowed at these service points:

• The Checkout Desk located on the first floor:
  • Most library-owned materials including books, Course Reserves, Instructional Films, and computing and calculating Technology can be borrowed and returned at the Checkout Desk. 
  • This desk is also where to pick up and return Interlibrary Loan and requested materials – including those requested from Remote Storage – and request searches for missing library materials. 
  • It also serves as the main lost and found and source of obtaining change for Jackson Library.
• Two Self Check Express machines on the first floor, one on the Checkout Desk and one in the first floor hallway between the Checkout Desk and the tower elevators:
  • Most library items can be borrowed on the Self Checks.
  • UNCG ID is required for UNCG students, faculty, and staff. Non-UNCG borrowers may be able to use the Self Check Express machines if they have the required form of ID; ask at the Checkout Desk.

Other On-Campus Libraries

Materials in the Harold Schiffman Music Library, Teaching Resources Center, and Intercultural Resource Center may be borrowed at the service desks in those libraries.
