Elizabeth R. Golson, administratrix of the estate of her late husband, Louis P. Golson, asks the court to settle the affairs of the estate. The slaves were "manumitted by the United States Govt & the State of Alabama" and all other property of the estate was sold under court order. Of course, she adds, the Confederate States Treasury Notes are of no value.
