Twenty-year-old Massack Janes seeks to take charge of the "considerable" estate to which he is entitled. The estate, "consisting of negros and Land money &c from his Farther's Estate," is currently "in the hands of one Eli H Moore as Guardian of your petitioner." Janes laments that this situation is costing him "a considerable Sum Yearly in Costs Commissions &c." He therefore prays that an act be passed "authorizing him to take and recive into his owns hands and Control all of his said Estate as though he was of full age."
