Abstract

Benjamin Woolsey, administrator of the estate of Calvin Norris, deceased, asks the court to record and file his statement regarding the slaves in the estate. He informs the court that five slaves, four of whom are children, have died. A twenty-year-old woman died of puerperal fever and the four children of scarlet fever.
