The University Libraries are saying a fond farewell to Professor and Assistant Dean for Collections and Information Technology Tim Bucknall, who has retired effective April 30, 2026. Tim was with UNCG for more than thirty years and made a major impact on the institute and on library and information services in the state of North Carolina (and beyond).
David Gwynn, Associate Professor and Digital Collections Coordinator, worked with Tim for many years and has written an excellent piece about Tim celebrating his many accomplishments and contributions to the library profession that we encourage readers to view.
