We are excited to share a new architectural rendering with our readers. This image shows what some of the renovated tower floors of Jackson Library will look like in the future. A large new window is visible in the background, and the stacks (shelves) have been turned so that they will run from north to south. The previous stacks ran from east to west, which limited the amount of natural light on each floor. The new arrangement will benefit users in many ways, allowing for shelf browsing as well as studying (one-on-one or in groups).
