The joy in my life comes in laughing and working alongside others who dream and then act for the good of the community. Central to that possibility is engaging in meaningful conversation where there is respect for the free expression of diverse perspectives. This book reminds me that to reap the full benefits of communal life, we need to hold sacred the values of conversation and exuberance for life.
