Affinity Group & Giving/Engagement Levels

We define a leader as a current UNCG student (undergraduate or graduate) who gives to any fund supporting the University Libraries. Student Leaders have the unique ability to see the direct impact of donating to the University Libraries and understand the importance of investing in the success of their library and community.

As a Student Leader you will receive:

This level of giving is designated for parents of students attending UNCG who give to any fund supporting the University Libraries. Parent Partners actively participate in the success of their student(s) and many more by donating to the University Libraries. Your donation helps us carry out our mission to serve this campus and community.

As a Parent Partner you will receive:

  • The University Libraries electronic newsletter
  • Recognition in the University Libraries electronic newsletter

  • Opportunities to engage with the University Libraries’ Dean to address how the library serves your student(s)

This level of support is offered to current UNCG faculty and staff (including Student workers) who donate to any fund supporting the University Libraries. Faculty and Staff Supporters understand the pivotal role the University Libraries serve in helping to shape and educate the UNCG campus and community and are committed to helping the libraries continue to be the “heart of the campus” recognizing that the libraries are for everyone.

As a Faculty & Staff Supporter you will receive:

This new giving level recognizes graduates (within the last 10 years, from any college or university) who donate to any fund supporting the University Libraries. As an Emerging Professional, you know firsthand the impact of having access to the resources and services your university library contributed to your success as a student. Your support can ensure that current students continue to benefit from those resources.

As an Emerging Professional you will receive:

  • Access to professional development opportunities
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities
  • University Libraries swag and paraphernalia

  • Recognition in the University Libraries electronic newsletter

This new giving level recognizes individuals who donate or pledge an annual cumulative amount between $500 – $999 to any fund supporting the University Libraries. Sustainers play an integral role in growing the University Libraries. Your dedication to higher education and community enrichment is expressed through your commitment of giving and trust in the University Libraries to be good stewards over your gifts.

As a Sustainer you will receive:

  • Opportunities to participate in library assessment activities to improve our services
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities

The Jackson Society giving level is designated for individuals who donate an annual cumulative amount between $1,000 – $9,999 to any fund supporting the University Libraries. Jackson Society members share a unique relationship with the University Libraries. Their generosity and investment in our success builds a dedicated community of donors who engage with the Library on a regular basis.

The benefits of this level include:

  • Volunteer and networking opportunities
  • University Libraries swag and paraphernalia
  • The University Libraries electronic newsletter
  • Recognition in the University Libraries electronic newsletter
  • Invitations to and priority seating at campus, community, and University Libraries’ programs and special events
  • Higher level opportunities to engage with the University Libraries’ Dean

This level of giving serves as a source of feedback to the leadership of the University Libraries. Advisors acts as ambassadors for the University Libraries helping to seek and recruit new avenues for support, as well as provide vital feedback and engage in decision-making opportunities to the University Libraries Dean. This level recognizes individuals who donate an annual cumulative amount of $10,000 or more to any fund supporting the University Libraries.

The benefits of this level include:

  • Invitations to high-level conversations with the Dean to provide insight and advice regarding the University Libraries
  • Act as ambassadors for the University Libraries, recruiting others to support
  • Represent the University Libraries in campus and community events
  • Invitations to and priority seating at campus, community, and University Libraries’ programs and special events
