SUMMARY:Annual Women Veterans Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the luncheon is fourfold:\n1. to honor the service of women who served in the United States armed forces and the American Red Cross;\n2. to serve as an educational forum about women veterans;\n3. to engage the veteran community at UNCG and Greensboro;\n4. and to highlight the work of the WVHP and its ongoing oral history project.\n\nThere will be a keynote speaker (Mel Bloom of the 350 Girls). An exhibit of military uniforms and other materials from the WVHP collection.
