Banned Books Week Read-a-Thon: Looking for Alaska

To celebrate Banned Books week this year, the University Libraries will be hosting a Read-a-Thon where we’ll read Looking for Alaska by John Green aloud. We’re looking for UNCG students, faculty, and staff to participate! This event will take place on October 9 from 10am to 3pm on the lawn in front of the Stone Building, which is located across from Jackson Library on College Avenue. If you want to read as part of this program, click here to sign up.
- You do not need to have read Looking for Alaska before in order to participate.
- You do not need to bring a copy of the book (unless you just want to!).
- We will have crafts and snacks available to all.
- If you don’t want to read but just want to join us, you are welcome to do so! No RSVP is required.
