Access Services

The Access Services Department connects library patrons with library information, collections, resources, spaces, and technology to support student and research success. The department provides circulation, stacks maintenance, delivery, course reserve, instructional film and technology services as well as staffing, safety, and security management for all hours that the main library is open.

  • Maintain welcoming, friendly, helpful, public contact points and provide inclusive, timely, and quality customer service to all library users
  • Ensure that collections, resources, and services are accessible to all library users, and assist them with identifying, locating, borrowing, requesting, and returning materials
  • Maintain inclusive lending policies and practices that support the needs and maintain the privacy of all library users 
  • Work with University faculty to deliver quality course and research-related resources
  • Provide library users with safe and inviting spaces for research, reflection, collaboration, and relaxation
