Cyrille Chevalier, a free man of color, presents to the court that Joseph Fondale, also a free man of color, is "justly & truly endebted" to him in the sum of $107.91, which he has "neglected & refused" to pay, although "frequently & amicably" asked to do so. Chevalier asks the court to order Fondale to pay his debt plus interest [Original in French and English].
