Abstract
Frisby Freeland, a free man of color, writes that he recently purchased a plot of land from Pulcherie Casson, a free woman of color. When the plot measured after the sale, it was found that the actual size was less than agreed upon with Casson. Freeland therefore prays for a reduction in the price of the land in the amount of $240.
