Clara Rochon seeks a divorce and separation of property from her husband, Thomas Doggett. Clara claims that she brought property to the marriage, including eleven slaves. She further claims that her husband has "squandered and wasted" a large portion of this property. She also accuses Doggett of treating her with "cruelty, to such a degree that their living together is absolutely insupportable." She therefore prays for a "seperation from bed and board" as well as a separation of property. Fearing that Doggett is planning to leave the jurisdiction with some of her property, Clara also asks for a writ of sequestration on the slaves still in Doggett's possession.
