Abstract

William Haschell, an innkeeper, was previously an overseer on the plantation of Archibald Beal located in "montgomery." Haschell explains that, while working on the plantation, he "had thereon all his provisions to wit his corn fodder pease potatoes & many other articles which are absolutely nessasary." In January 1810, Edward Bynam "did unlawfully take possession of the aforesaid articles & prevent your petitioner from free use & Exercise of his own personal Good & chattles." He cites Bynam for $1,000 in damages.
