James T. Archer, administrator of the estate of the late Jane Gillison, seeks to settle claims against the estate in order to make a final distribution. The plaintiff states that Sarah Beck, one of the siblings and heirs of Jane Gillison, desires a distribution of the slaves in the estate because she has no other means of support. Her husband James L. Beck is insolvent and has filed for bankruptcy. She desires that her distribution be placed in her trust estate for her support and for the support and education of her children.
