Abstract
Ann Gibson charges her husband, Gerard Gibson, with "drunkeness and debauchery." She complains of his violent temper and accuses him of sleeping with "a negress." Ann Gibson asks for "such alimony & seperate maintenance . . . as from the fortune she brought to her said husband." She also asks for an injunction to prevent her husband from further selling any of her property, including the remainder of her thirteen slaves.
