Abstract
George Walton seeks permission to export and sell his slave David, who is "habitually guilty of great misconduct and violence." His conduct, including running away, was "so very outrageous" that Walton confined in the Sussex County jail. Walton believes that he "could not dispose of him in this State for anything like his real value, without concealing his character and vices from the purchaser."
