Abstract

Slave owner Thomas Watson asserts that his twenty-year-old slave George has repeatedly threatened to kill members of his family and "do personal Injury to the Neighbours." According to Watson, George is "of such a wicked & malicious Temper that your Petitioner is not able to controul or manage him." Watson asks to sell George out of the state.
