Abstract
Benjamin H. Craig, administrator of the estate of John H. Walker, deceased, represents that he "came into the possession of no money to pay the debts of said estate, nor has he any means to pay said debts ... unless he should sell property for that purpose." Believing that "it will be most to the interest of said estate to sell slaves, (three in number and least valuable to said estate)," Craig prays that "such sale be ordered accordingly."
