Abstract
William W. Waller, administrator of the estate of Abel alias Gun Loftin, deceased, asks to sell the estate's more than twenty slaves in order to make an equal distribution among the "heirs at law and distributees of the said deceased who died intestate." The heirs include Abel's brother Oliver Loftin, who lives in Texas; Abel's underage sister Susan Loftin; his underage brother Alfred Loftin; and William Waller's daughter Elizabeth.-
