Abstract

J. B. Bibb, administrator of the estate of Joseph P. Saffold, deceased, seeks to sell the lands of the estate, "it being necessary to sell the slaves or the land" to pay debts. Bibb states that "it would be greatly to the interest of this estate to sell the latter instead of the former." Saffold left a wife and three minor children.
