Abstract
On 20 June 1846, George Walker mortgaged thirty-five-year-old Ned and his twenty-six-year-old wife Milly, to George Willis, trustee and guardian of Byrd Willis Jr.; the mortgage secured a debt of $910, originally borrowed in 1842. Willis states that Walker has not discharged said debt and, with accrued interest, $1032.18 is now due. Willis asks the court to foreclose on the mortgage.
