Abstract:Claude Rame "is exceeding solicitous to recompense" a female slave named Aurora for her "faithful services, and meritorious character" during "the ten years she has served him." He therefore prays that he may "be allowed by an act of your Honorable body" to manumit the said Aurora and her four children, Achilles, Eugenia, William and Adelle, "the oldest of whom is about seven years of age."
