Abstract
Mary M. Rolls is one of eight heirs of her late father, William Todd. The estate is "possessed of considerable property consisting of lands Slaves & chattels." The estate is administered by William M. Tippins and John W. Todd. Rolls claims that her husband has left her and does not support her, and that she needs her share of the estate in order to support herself and her children. She asks the court to clarify the issue of who will serve as her trustee so that her share of the estate will not be passed to her husband.
