Charles Thomas informs the court that he "removed from the State of Maryland to the State of Delaware in March 1793 at which time he left several negroes in the state of Maryland." Stating that he is "now desirous to have said negroes removed to the State of Delaware,” Thomas "prays the Legislature to enable him to remove one negro Man, named Sam, Two negro women, named Fanny & Hannah, Three negro boys, named Jack, Reuben & Perry, and one negro girl named Nance" from Maryland into Delaware.
