University Libraries Statement on Violence Against Asians and Asian Americans

The University Libraries are disappointed and angered by the recent violence against Asians and Asian Americans. We reflect Chancellor Gilliam's words of it being appalling and unacceptable and condemn hate in the strongest terms and stand with our Asian American brothers and sisters in solidarity. As a library community, we stand with the Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA) and publicly condemn anti-AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) racism.
