Database Access Policy

Because of restricted license agreements, the University Libraries are unable to make the full collection of databases available outside the Libraries to anyone except students, faculty, and staff.

You may use online resources in the University Libraries by getting a login to a guest computer in the ROI Department.

Through the resources of NC LIVE, however, any resident of North Carolina may obtain access to many of the databases by contacting their local public library. NC LIVE provides access to over 40 databases, including many of the University Libraries' most frequently-used resources. We encourage you to take advantage of this resource by contacting your local public library. North Carolina residents may also get a State Library Card (from the State Library of North Carolina in Raleigh) that will provide remote access to these databases.
