• Most databases contain scholarly articles. Learn how to select and retrieve only scholarly/peer-reviewd articles. (not available in all databases)

• If you know the journal title, use the Journal A-Z list found under the red catalog search box to see out if UNCG owns that journal title through another means.

• Use the ILL request form.

• How do I request UNCG books?
• Fill out the ILL request form and note you are a distance ed student. We will send the books to you free of charge.

• What if the book I need is check out?
• You can:

• Select REQUEST under the "status" area and it will be mailed to you (after it is returned), or
• Try searching a library near you (Check out our borrowing agreements.)

• You can:

• Search a library near you (Check out our borrowing agreements.)
• Request it through ILL (note: this takes the longest amount of time)
• See if there is another book you can use instead (Ask a Librarian for help!)
• See if there is an ebook edition (Ask a Librarian for help!)
• Suggest we purchase it
