The University Artifacts Collection contains over 300 items relating to UNCG's history. Some high points of the collection include an assortment of class rings, pins, and diplomas, dating as far back as 1900. Also of note are the numerous pieces of commemorative china containing scenes of the campus and pictures of faculty members. Other highlights include items belonging to former faculty and alumni, mementos from campus buildings, and paraphernalia pertaining to significant events in the institution’s history. The purpose of this exhibit is to showcase some of the more noteworthy items from the collection. This page will be periodically updated as more artifacts are photographed. A complete listing of the Artifacts Collection’s holdings can be found in the University Archives, on the 2nd floor of Jackson Library.
