Full Text: Dearest Mother & Daddy,

Just a note to-night to let you know that all’s well.

I’ve just come off duty, & I’m going to the show in a little while here in our club. Don’t know what is going to be shown, but I have nothing else to do.

I wonder if Louis has been home yet? I suppose he is at Asheville now. I just wonder what they are going to do with him, now that the war is over, over here.

I received a letter from you all yesterday written Aug 9th. It was the first one in about 8 days.

It’s still been very hot. I wish we would get to a cold climate. There’s been no relief with the rain.

Guess this is all for now. Will write more next time.

Lots of love, Annie Edith
