Description:

Volume 1, Number 8, August 1944 edition of "The Army Nurse" magazine. It contains numerous informational articles such as an explanation of how twelve army nurses were awarded the bronze star, a reprinting of a letter from a nurse stationed in Greenland, and a list of the problems associated with the rapid growth of fungi in medical equipment.

Articles of particular interest include "Sixty-Nine Army Nurses Dead Since December 7", and a letter "From a Misinformed Individual": which lists complaints against the ANC.
