Description: Forty-seven page color recruitment booklet for the Women's Army Corps, published in 1964. The booklet follows the fictional enlistment and army service of a character named Barbara, who is depicted in color drawings until she joins the army, at which point color photos of Barbara are featured. Topics include: WAC uniforms, jobs, barracks, food, free time, fitness, religious services, and travel. The final page covers enlistment qualifications and salary standards.
