Description: Thirty page tri-color recruitment booklet for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, published in 1948. The booklet is illustrated throughout with black and white photos of WACs and WAFs. Topics include: the importance of a peacetime army, the role of women in the military, available jobs, women's uniforms, daily and social life, types of duty stations, pay, qualifications, and how to sign up. The final four pages include statements from Omar N. Bradley, Hoyt S. Vandenberg, Mary A. Hallaren, and Geraldine P. May.
