Description: Six page, black and white WAC News Letter, Vol. 2, No. 9, for April 1945. On the cover is a photo of WACs throwing darts at a photo of Hitler in a ruined building in Verdun, France. Emma Newell Love is pictured far right. The publication contains a letter from Colonel Oveta Culp Hobby and articles on hospital technician recruitment, a sewing course in Paris, WAC radio operators aboard planes and ships, a new administrative school for officers, WACs at the British Staff College, various awards and promotions, WACs in the 9th Bomber Division, and a WAC beauty shop in New Guinea.
