Description: Marian Hagen sits on one of the beds lined up outside the new barracks into which WACs were moving in Wilmington, NC, circa 1942. The beds are in disarray with mattresses, pillows, and blankets generally thrown on top of the frames. A white, long, two-story building, presumably the new WAC barracks in Wilmington, can be seen behind Hagen.
