Description: Fellow U.S. Army Air Forces evacuation nurse "Johnnie", in pajamas, prepares to bunk down in their barracks while stationed with the 803rd Air Evacuation Squadron in Chabua, India, circa 1944. Johnnie's bunk is covered with mosquito netting, and several pairs of shoes are lined up underneath it.
