Description: Lieutenant Colonel M.V. "Ginger" Jacocks (first row, center) poses with students of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, in May 1997. Jacocks served as the students' faculty advisor. She was the first female to hold the position. All Marines pictured wear mess dress.
