Description: Photo of the mortar attack site where Rosie Noel was wounded by shrapnel, circa 2005. Three Marines stand near a blackened spot in the desert, where the projectile hit. Noel was riding her bicycle near this area when the attack occurred, and a piece of shrapnel wounded her in the cheek.
