Description: Official photo of Squadron 3741, Flight 9, based in San Antonio, Texas, taken in March of 1953. The top four figures are Deputy Commander Colonel Hopson, Brigadier General Steele, Group Commander Colonel Feallock, and WAF (Women in the Air Force) Executive Officer Lieutenant Colonel Angst. In the middle next to the patch insignia is Commanding Officer Major Ryland and below her is Tactical Instructor Page. On the left and right side of Page are two photographs from Lackland Air Force Base. The text on the photograph located on the left side says “The Gateway to The Air Force, Center of Basic Airman Indoctrination and Home of the USAF [United States Air Force] officer Candidate School. The photograph on the right is a church. Barbara Snead is the second small portrait from the left on the bottom row.
