Description: In this photo likely members of WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service—U.S. Navy) Company 68-44 Battalion Two, U.S. Navy, are marching on the parade ground at Hunter College in Bronx, New York. They wear the standard WAVES white short sleeve t-shirt, black tie, white cover with blue cap, and white dress with unique iron fold. All wear the standard WAVES-issued oxford shoes. At the end of the formation the United States flag and another flag with a fouled anchor and propeller device, the official training flag of the WAVES center at Hunter College.
